No one knows?!!? come on, give me some fucking feedback here!!!
|
Yo dude, i dont have a clue, but, it appears noone else does either. sorry bud

I know that the Korg AX100 and AX1500 have the NIN effect.
they have a really weird nin distortion, but it's a multi effect.. |

nod they have :) but I think almost every multi-effect pedal has a nin distortion or am I wrong? Or does only Korg have that? |
dunno for sure but I think it's a Korg thing!!
All the korg pedals have the ' NiN ' setting but the Boss GT's etc. don't have this kinda distortion! (or maybe they do but the bank has a diffrent name or something.) |

gonna check at home if my Korg AX300 have that function as well. I think not, haven't seen it yet. only have crush, high gain, classic, hash and studio distortion. |
I don't know but the NiN effect is on all the latest ' ToneWorks ' thingies like the ax100 ax 1500 ..
maybe even on the ax1g.. |
Re: re

I don't think that the AX300 has it. |

yup, you re right, couldn't find it. |
well i have a toneworks korg ax1g and i can't get the sound i want out of it, and i don't want another multi-effects pedal, i want to stay away from that crap. does anyone know of any other equipment to get for that besides for all these multi-effects pedals? there's got to be some sort of nin style distortion pedal out there. thanks for the info.
|
yeah there's bound to be a pedal that can produce that sound.
well the ax100 and 1500 do have the NiN setting, but the ax1g appearently has not. hm. tried the Boss MT-2 metalzone yet? it can produce quite a range of distortions... Boss has heaps of distortion pedals and you can change some parameters on those little pedals, I use Boss pedals on my bass, a bass flanger, compressor and a distortion. those pedals are really solid and I use them on stage, haven't had any problems yet, they cost ehm, about 80-100 dollars over there I guess.. but then you need to find the pedal that can produce the NiN sound hehe, but I think you should start with the MT-2 and then if it doesn't make the sound you want, try the other Boss pedals! I'm not that multi-effect either but that's because I don't like the digital sound of the multi-effects, I prefer analog effect... |
ok. whats the difference between the mt-2 metalzone and the regular metalzone?
|
eh, I thought they where the same, MT-2 is just the typename just like CEB-3 (basschorus)
I don't know if there are 2 metalzone's, the second is probably better... I've only tried the MT-2 anyways.. |
cool. thanks.
|
I dont use Distortuion epdals, BUT!
I;d think its like computer software, MT2 is the version 2 of the pedal |
I don't know, I've seen pretty much all of the Boss range including the oldies and the GT-6,5 and even GT6b..
however I've never seen an MT-1 or something, only the grey/orange MT-2.. there ain't no MT-1 on the site either |
