It should be Ancient I am, that being said I haven't read it... :p

I was thinking of Ancient I am, but it doesn't flow with the music. Is it improper grammar? I seriously doubt, maybe a little dated but not improper.

It isn't bad. I don't know about Ancient, Am I. Kind of sounds like Yoda or something. It might sound sort of 'gothic' or whatever, but I don't think it works. Then again, I'm not hearing it set to music so what the fuck do I know?

That sounds good, too. It changes the meaning a tad, but that could be okay if he likes that idea. Ancient, Still I Am would keep it the same.
