GP: continue to the next measure

How do I get GP to take a note that ends on say the last beat of a measure and continue its duration into the next measure. How do I do that in GP?

In tab it looks something like...

Well that | delimits the measure and in tab form those underscore lines would actually be like a legato curved line symbolizing that the note continues into the next measure. Thanks!

Press 'L' i think it is, and it will tie the two notes together :)
