Heres a used Ran I picked up a while back but now I need some money so... It looks flawless. askin $475.

is that really a custom

im not sure, i thought they were all custom. it just says "Ran"

Not trying to doubt you or anything, but this looks really suspicious, are you the original owner? Ran custom w/ no-name pickups and a licensed floyd? Also, the bolt on construction looks a little weird.

The tuners don't even match... :p

The tuners match, its just a reflection in the photo. I bought it at a pawn shop about a month ago. i dont much about it or the company.

Yea, kinda looks like 'set-neck-but-couldn't-be-arsed'. That upper strap pin doesn't look too strong either :( I really like that body shape though its a BVII or something i think :)

Possibly someone got a really cheap RAN ordered? Tranny's right though, if I were interested I'd link those pics to D and see wat he says.

Doesn't look authentic... could be a pile o crap and you spray painted a RAN decal on the headstock...

It looks like Ran will have to start using serial numbers now, if they haven't already.

that neck joint is called AANJ. its common

$475 seems to be a good price if its actually a Ran. Emailied big D about this would be wise, since he'd probably recognize a guitar like this.

Thats a really weird guitar. I don't really like the shape, and the neck pickup being offset doesn't help. I know that's not a problem, but it's something. The neck looks fine though, dunno bout the rest. Would need some upgrades. Weird shape, can't get over it, Never seen anything like it before.. is it a copy? Original? the shapes on the site look nothing like this one.

And Yes, the neck joint is an All-Access-Neck-Joint. IMO those are better than bolt, ons, more places to slip your fingers in.

Prove to me this is an actual Ran and I'll take it.

Chances are the original seller replaced thepickups with some stock ones out of another guitar,same with the liscenced Floyd.Other than that,it looks genuine to me.

Why doesn't someone actuallt email dariusz about this?
