What about the Tech 21 Trademark one? Those Vaders look like they may be just a little out of my price range.

Yeah, Vader and Genz Benz are good stuff too. The vaders cost about the same as the G-Flex's though (going with the g-flex price of 420 shipped at rocksolidamps)

Bought it off of a guy who owned a recording studio, and he had modded it. So before it came to me, it spent its days in plush, smoke free confinement. Now it suffers the technical metal onslaught of Mr. Holland :bawling:

How about building one? What would be some decent speakers for it and what would be an estimate on price?

I'm currently building my own 2x12, open backed, i bought a sheet of 8'x4' ply for about 40 quid, and theres enough there to build two. I got a couple of Eminence 'The Govenor' speakers for about 40 quid each too. The other bits you need; wiring, corners etc. come to about 30 :) Takes a lot of time to build though, im doing it more as a personal project than a money-saving exercise.

Well seeing as how my dad is a carpenter and I'm never using powertools again because I value my digits too much. He has offered to do most of the constructing of it. Does anyone know where I could get tolex to wrap it in?

Hardware shop,or whatever they call them in the states.Im trying to find something like camoflague tolex for one of my cabs.

tolex and corners, handles etc can be found at parts express. I just scored an avatar 2x12 for $199 from ebay, with eminence wizards, 3 months old, virtually mint. Pull out a speaker and ship back to Aus for $72 via USPS.
