Bass solos yea or neah
 

Im a solo man but what do yall think about it i mean i love Jaco , Lars from Spiral architect, Steve from death, but do you guys solo in your bands I do some machine gun style :uzi: Talk monkeys!!! :smash:

Yeah, i like bass solo's, its that time for the bassists to shine! (cheeeese on toast!! :D) If used in the right place that is.

I was thinkin about this the other day, and that if i were a bassist i would want to solo in songs.

If i had a band i would make sure we included bass solos, maybe drum solos too.
just coz most bands are guitar, guitar guitar, bass and drums is kinda left in the back somewhere :confused:

If i had another/side band, it would be one big solo, haha. i'd try to make it as technical as possible, with bass/guitar harmonising sweeping solo's and stuff, ahh.

I'm all up for bass solos, id love to have them in my band. Right now my bassist/brother hasn't been playin too long though, and can't really solo, but in like a year he's gonna be like BLAM!!

if a bass solo is melodic, atmospheric and good overall, it is cool, but I guess it is pretty hard to make a great bass solo.

I play a 2-handed tapping bass solo section in our one song Heaven's Advocate and another tapping part I'm working on for one of the older songs, but other than that, it's only when my guitarist and myself are doing some very technical sections, but I wouldn't exactly call that a "solo"
