Repeat endings
How do I utilize 4 endings on a riff? I am working on a Kreator tab right now, and for the one riff, I have attached what I have, and the idea of what I want to have.
Do I need to use a musical direction function with a repeat end deal there? Help anyone? :( |
Yeah, this has always puzzled me too. I can't get more than two endings to work properly.

For that arrangment, it may be better to just write the entire 4 bars out, then just make a new section with the same thing but different ending.
Or you could write 4 bars, have a repeat, then jump to final ending. I've put both ideas on the ptab under sections C and D, see what you think. Oh, forgot to mention ... I don't think it's possible to do what you want to do in powertab. For repeat endings, you can't go back to a previous one. So all you can do is repeat the same until a new ending, then you must move on to a new section .... unless you play around with musical directions but that would probably be a poor design as opposed to just writing the endings out like I did in C or D. |
Yea, I didnt want to do the first one you wrote because I thought it should be shortened up.
But the second one.... clever man, thats what I will do for now on! Thanks! |
