Which melodic death metal band do you think is the best?
I think that In flames and Children of Bodom are the best ones tough i haven't listened to many other melodic death bands.

In Flames is really good in my opinion. Bodom too. I'd say Bodom is the best melodic band..

so is it "melodic metal", or "melodic death metal"? you said it different in the title.

Anyway, id say Skyfire, and if it werent them it would be In flames

I wish I knew a good melodic metal band. But I can't stand most of them. I'll listen to a pretty song, but damn it, don't mix it with metal. :smash: It is a breed that must be destroyed.

Okay, I take that statement back. If the metal has a good dark feel to it -- or is sung in German by a bunch of wannabe vampires in black trench coats --then melodic metal is okay. I stand corrected, sir.
