31-band equalizer
 

hey somone in my town is selling a SKB 3-space rack box which has a Ross Systems 31-band equalizer for 40 bucks but dosent have the send and receive cables is this a good deal in your eyes?I tried finding information about it but couldent.Thanks

some would say that 31 band is a bit overkill, but for forty bucks, doesnt seem like a bad deal...

the skb alone makes it an alright deal in my eyes... but the eq is just a plus. if you don't like it you could sell it and keep the case for something else.

Go for it, and stick a Randall RM4 in the two empty rack spaces :P

Yeah the rackspase is definitely work it. I dont want to pay fuckin 80 bucks for a fuckin 4 space rack so i have to make my own.

Yeah well i fucking hate ebay. I payed 454 for a crown ce2000 which is a little more than half of what it normally costs. And well I got half of an amp (channel 2 is blown completely). And all we have around here is Guitar center. And well.... FUCCCK Im so angry lately.

Thats electrical equipment... a rack is just wood/plastic and screws...

Im a fucking retard so whatever. I hate ebay. and I can build one myself that works and looks half decent for under $10 so i figure ill do that.

Unless you're something of a skilled carpenter, you aren't going to be able to build a stable rack. $30 is a steal

no reason to hate ebay if you know what you're doing.

and builing a wooden box with rack rails in it isnt going to give you much protection... these name brand companys know their shit. they've been doing it for a while, they no how to give protection that will last, and keep it looking good and light as possible.

I have a design and granted carpentry isnt my line of work, I spent 5 years doing it for a company. I will have the protection I need, the weight very light, and the stbility great. And yes I am a retard thanks for noticing. And Yes I hate ebay because i had one bad experience where I waster 454 dollars PLUS Shipping and Handling, in which I could not get back.
