4 track trouble
I have a tascam 4 tracker that was loaned to me. It isn't that great and I'm sure one could be picked up for about $100 but the thing is it only records two tracks. Tracks 3-4 won't be played on any stereo other than the four track itself. Anyone who has any experience with this kinda thing, thanks in advance.

see, no one wants to help you because youre such a cocky tool but here, this is the problem a fourtrack tape recorded does just that, records four tracks. any regular tape has four tracks, its just that in a regular stereo it only plays back two tracks. the other two are the other side of the tape....that is to say side A has two tracks and side B has two tracks. ever put a regular tape in your fourtrack and listen? side a plays fine and you also hear side b, in reverese. thats why when youre doing a transfer of tape to computer you need to mute the last two tracks so you hear only side a as for playing in a regular stereo, it aint gonna happen. |

I'll try not to be such a faggoth next time. But thanks for helping me out, all I do is make demo tapes of me playing rythm and lead guitar for my band. So I guess me having a two tracker is just fine. |
alright
good luck with it then |
