motorhead Vs Sepultura
 

I just saw motorhead supported by sepultura,
the sepultura drummer was faster, more technical, more rythmic, kept better time, had better technique, etc.
but the motorhead drummer was just sort of better (unexplainably)

being a guitarist i dont understand why i would rather have the motorhead guy in my band even though all logic says that Mr sepultura drummer was better in every respect.

anyone know why this is?

2 compeltely different types of drummers. motorhead probably played better, they headlined, so you automaticly think that Mikey is better. That's just because he fits the style perfectly.

No. Btw, its like comparing apples to oranges.

I like to think i dont judge musicians by which slot they occupy or by the band the play with. but yeah fair enough.

Well, there are some Suffocation songs that I cant stand, and on the other hand I could listen to Jeasus Screamer over and over and love it. It's just the way it is.
