Well Crate did make some nice amps af few years back. Even good SS.

This crate SS I have now is brand new and quite good. I'm thinking, if this one stays low, I'm gonna buy it. Anyone else who tries to beat me is gay, so dont try.

i used to own a similar amp, the g1600 xl. it's not bad at all and the prices old ass crate heads go for are incredibly low.
this shit was discontinued like the early-mid 90's i think.

my friend currently owns it... it's still a trooper, hasnt failed once.

this era of crate amps have a more unique sound, much rounder and more tonefull than the newer crate stuff imo.

i'm just thinking... damn $56(it's still there) is chump change... i'm checking on it tommarrow... if it's still there i might buy it and then i'll probably sell it to some local kid or something for like $100. :rolleyes:

i just remembered somebody here was looking into one. and i came across this little gem.

I have a Crate GFX 120W head and I hate the fucking thing. I think it has problems some where inside of it, but I can't get a good tone out of it for my life. I use to like Crate but this amp just ruined it for me :bawling:

Anyways I think the GT3500H (the head I have now) is pretty much a newer version of that amp.
