That's what I'm saying, yeah there's a few bum notes and a couple sloppy parts, but for 8 years old....

EDIT: ok I just found out he's not really 8, he's 13. So not quite as impressive, but still good.

i mean cant you hear all his screw ups and insistancies?

if he played on a classical guitar or on that guitar unplugged i think he would sound like absolute crap

I'm 17 and can play Bodom After Midnight :p And I actually hit the notes. Sounds like that kid is SOMETIMES hitting root notes or whatever and throwing in bullshit notes inbetween

yea i saw this on another forum, and everybody there was giving him mucho complimentes, even though he sucked so much ass!

I'm not impressed at all by this guy.
i started playing guitar when i was 11 years old, and at his age (14), i could play much cleaner. True, i didn't attempt to play Eruption, but that's the very thing that bothers me

If he was actually 8 years old, or 4, or still in the womb, I would've been a lot more impressed if he playing anything cleanly, mary had a little lamb, anything easy.
The fact is that he tried to show off and play something he couldn't play, Eruption. He did not hit one note cleanly.
Anybody can sloppily play Eruption with unwanted strings ringing out and generally bad technique, at any age if they just picked up the guitar for one month.
He's no better than dudes at Guitar shops that play hard songs unintentionally bad for the sake of showing off.

Ive seen better ill try and figure out who the kid i saw. He looked like he was maybe 12 and he was extremely good, i saw him on tv playing the national anthem at some sporting event, and they showed a clip of him improvising

In the comments on the site posted one of the kids he goes to school with came out and dispelled the 8 yr old myth.
