Specifically to post your work so that others might critique it. Good idea? I think so. :beer:

Is there somewhere online where you kan post your own band tabs or post recordings for rating and shit?

I think its a damn god idea. I just moved into a house where this guys got a webcam and all that good stuff. T1 connection too. I might post so many videos it makes you sick.

And about negative critisism...who gives a shit. Most people on here are musicians and musicians respect musicians. And everyone could use some bad feedback. Or else you get a big ego

I think its a good idea..but really if its a recording of a guitar then you should put it in the guitar forum, bass to bass, drums to drums, ect. If it dosen't fall threw, we should all put up a sticky to post your music..I don't know. Either way it can't hurt at all.

The nice thing about having a forum dedicated to it, is that it doesn't get lost among the other topics in the guitar discussion. Only topics that include recordings would be allowed, which would be cool. One thread is not as good because it gets confusing as to who's talking to who, especially after 20 pages.

As far as people getting negative feedback, well negative feedback makes us improve. I like getting negative feedback, it pushes me to do better.

In that case, the entire idea is shit. Do Better!!! J/K

Along with this good idea, there should be a set of rules in a sticky. Like don't steal our thoughts because I know that's what most of us think before putting up uncopywrited material on an internet forum. Perhaps, a password to get into the forum so only registered users can hear? It would be a hell for Nomad I presume, but there's no way I will give my music away. Hmmm, maybe like how you [Nomad] set up the "mod lounge" so only mods can enter. You could do that for a "registered user."
