I remember seeing a couple of threads in the Chit Chat forum where some one would post lyrics and then people would have to name the band, well, I don't know if this has been done before but I figured there should be a game where some one posts a tab (Doesn't have to be correct, just has to sound like the song they're trying to portray) and then people would have to name that band just from playing that tab. Sound fun?

I only read the first and last pages of this post (just wanted to point that out), and I have some comments. First off, Displacer's Tab site used to do this every month. Fuck if I know what the hell happened to that place, at one point it had more tabs than here, it doesn't even come close now. A couple years ago it was THE place to go for metal tabs. Obviously we have a new champion. Just felt like pointing that out, I've seen this before.

Secondly, it's going to be hard to play this game for most people because you are posting in the wrong font. You are just pasting the tab into your post. That doesn't work because the default font for this forum is multi-spaced, and you NEED a mono-spaced font (I prefer Courier New) to accurately read tab. You can get around that problem by clicking on the [Font] link above the post when you are writing.

For example, I would type in "FONT=Courier New" inside brackets [] and then I would paste in the piece of the tab. Then I would type in "FONT", again encased in brackets []. I hope that helps some of you.
