Actually, it's good that people make an introductory thread. The problem is just that the people who start them don't say anything interesting...such as something smart, that would interest us in wanting you here. It's been a while since someone has done that.

I too am getting very annoyed and frustrated with the onslaught of "I'm new" threads. Especially when they appear in Guitar Zone.....WHAT THE FUCK?!?!

You're new, that's wonderful...want a candy? Just start posting. Most of these guys make their "i'm new" thread and leave, never to return.

I'm closing this thread, and if i see any more like it that have nothing good but a simple "hi" in them, they're getting closed too. I never started here with such a thread, and most of the oldies (those that have been aroud more than 6 months i guess) never had them either. So fuck it. No more introduction threads.
