Saw them for about 3 minutes at Ozzfest 2000. I must say it was about the most god-awful crap I'd ever heard in my life.
In other words, don't like them at all.

nah, i listened to them about a year ago. They're not bad, but get boring really fast. And they're not nearly heavy enough

The new album seems to indicate that one day Kittie will grow into a Tiger... fucking maybe!! But it's a step in the right direction. I listen to it occasionally. All-girl metal is almost exclusively cool though ;)

I love 'em. Plenty heavy enough. It's not death metal anyway (for whoever made some clever response..I'm tired right now). I wouldn't pay money to go see them though...b/c I don't have any.
Ahem...regardless of their actual metal style....the vocals still suck, in my opinion. Therefore i can't stand the band.

Jesus Christ. They aren't trying to be satanic/goat-massacring whores for Lucifer. Those chicks are posers in my opinion! We're dealing with Nu-metal radio women here. Yeah, it sort of drops an intimation of teen angst. But they are heavy for alt. metal. And Morgan Lander really can sing good...with actual melody. I mean how can we talk good vocals when referring to growling, anyway. That's all shitty. It's just sets the mood.

Well, I quoted you b/c you said "good metal/dark music".....like something gloomy. The bands aren't in comparison. Kitty isn't supposed to be like that, so your comparison is irrelevant. And I listend to some Amber Asylum ( I couldn't find the other band). I was expecting something like Sinister with their female lead. That band wasn't metal at all. Yeah it was sort of dark like you said, but it was more slow symphomy gothic indie rock or something. Did I not listen to enough of it or something? B/c it was WAY not metal. I only listened to some of one cd. Maybe I missed something. But indirectly off the topic, I thought Kittie was (is..whatever) a much better band. Of course that's musically speaking. Their vocalist was really good (on most of it).

No I didn't see it in there. I come there sometimes though. I just haven't been to metaltabs at ALL in the last few weeks (if you've noticed). Plus to both of you, I can't fix my sig. The joke is funny if you get it. But I didn't make it long to piss you off, doochebag. I just can't get that space out. I don't know what the fuck possessed it.

Linkin Park? was that a joke or were you serious. They're not even "music" let alone "metal". One power chord and some guy rapping and sometimes talentlessly screaming in the backgorund. Very "cool". Yeah.
Linkin park are the same as the backstreet boys, but now they've 'discovered'the guitar and shit. But they don't know what to do with it! I''lee bet linkin park is put together bij some sort of producent who want to get a lot of money!!

linkin park , was at the last ozzfest. Definately not my kind of tunes. And they came on right after BLS, so they sucked even more. After all the moshin for BLS, i was all hyped, then linkin park came on and everyone was like "what the fuck". Booing and throwing shit. But my and a couple of buddies were still hyped up from BLS so we started moshing anyway, it was fucking funny. Everyone's standing there, not doin shit, and we're smashin into everyone. The lead singer was lookin at us like "what the fuck are these guys doin?" Then he got everyone to scream "linkin park suck, linkin park fucking suck. LInkin park, you guys suck dick". At least he realized that he was playin ' for the wrong crowd.

In the eyes of the public "cool" hehe :) don't worry.
I've seen them when they played with Taproot and Deftones, but there wasn't anything going on in the pit while they played, it also looked like the guitar and bass player didn't know what they woz doing because they where all jumping around and shit while the music kinda stopped hehehe

Mythic were better. If you can find it, get their only release "Mourning in the Summer Solstice" or its Winter not Summer, I don't remember. I got it about 10 years ago, but the tape has long since been destroyed. I beleive they were on Relapse Records. Their stuff might be out-of-print. They were three chicks that sounded like Chris Barnes era Cannibal Corpse.
