w0000000000000!!!!!!!!

This is like Toronto's version of Woodstock. Here's part of the lineup:
Rolling Stones
Rush
AC/DC
The Guess Who
The Isley Brothers
Dan Acroyd/Jim Belushi (Blues Brothers)

There's a few shitty groups on here....but whatever man, for only 21,50$ it's worth it. Hell, i'd pay 50$ just to see Rush alone!! W0000000!!!!!!! CAN'T WAIT!!! JULY 30th!!!!

I've heard they're expecting approximately 750,000 people to be there. Gonna be nuts man.......NUTS!

i'm seriously thinking to go there
but i'll need someone with a car it's like 5 hours from montreal

21.00$ to see rush and ac/dc definately worth it but i don't expect them to play
more than 5 or 6 songs

yeah, they're expecting 800,000 people to come, and i think 650,000 tickets already sold or something. Just trying to get people to come back into toronto after the sars scare.

yeah i got the same reaction too.... personnaly i really don't like them and i don't know what there are doing there it's definately not their place...
but i give them credit to get a spot at a show like this..but it's not
a place where their music is going to be appreciate...

theyll get boo'd...funny thing is they said on the radio that (i quote) "We have a lot of fans in the US asking us to play some songs [...] blahblahblah we sold a lot of albums there"
lol....i think they sold like 5 albums total:P

btw, any idea if theres bus's organized to go there from quebec/montreal/trois-rivieres? would be nice, and i might be able to afford it after all

lol ya it was packed, i was right in the front and couldnt go out so i just lied to the security and told him i got kicked in the head by a bodysurfer (which i really did a few times (fucking body surfers  )) and felt really dizzy (the lie), so they let me over the guard rail
one thing i was mad about, is that i live right beside the park, but all the gates to get in were on the other side, and the parks really huge and took almost an hour (people i was with walk slow  ) to walk around
but it was still worth it

Yay for 3rd degree sunburns on my right leg!!

Yeah the concert was pretty cool.....only part i didn't like was the immense pain in my legs, the immense burning of the body (worst was the right leg) and the blisters on my feet.

It's been about 5 days since the concert now and my right knee is starting to heal......by heal i mean turn purple and bright red, and the blisters which appeared on it last night have now started breaking up. w00t!

Rush owned though. All the pain was worth it for Rush.

I got to the show around 11am. I ended up parking at the Yorkdale Mall and walking there. Sam Roberts was cool until he got cut off (kinda funny). The evening show was very good I must say. It was so difficult to even find any room to step on to move anywhere. My legs were killing. My cell phone didn't work. Water was $2.50/bottle. Sun-burnt face. Terrible burgers. In the end, it was worth it.

water was free along the guardrails in front of the stage and around there, i was about 10 feet from the front rail the whole time, there was no getting out, so they had to give people water, that would just be unhumane
i got lots, and i really had to piss at the end, but it was worth it
and my legs didnt hurt at all, except just my ankles when i got home, next day i was fine
