The 'family ' is going to see Wally graduate from Navy bootcamp. He wants me to bring a cd player and his cd's so he can hear some music finally while he's on leave a couple days. (I'm taking his ratty ole Metallica shirt and his bass if it'll fit with 7 people in the van. I got him new strings , too. I'm a good mom.:) )

I'd like to make him a cd of some new stuff that I'm not familiar with. I've gotten ideas from Mr Weijia and a few others, but not enough for a decent cd yet. And it'll be from all of you guys. You can pm titles and artists to me or post them here. I don't care. I'll stop taking songs on June 9 so don't post any after that. Metal songs and bass stuff you think he'd like.

He really liked the comments and stuff I've sent him from you , too. He's doing the gas chamber and firefighting thing this week. He was really excited about it, too.

I would like to thank all of you for contributing to the 'cd for Wally ' campaign. I appreciate it very much. When I talked to him a couple days ago he said he was going to get a laptop and digital camera when he gets to South Carolina so look out you guys !! heehee He'll have a lot more free time while he's going to school.
When he called and talked to his dad last night , he was awaiting battlestations and had a gasmask strapped to his leg ready to go. The brat will be making a TON of money once he's in school so guess who's gonna take care of mom in her old age !!?? heehee

Anyways. This thread can be closed or whatever your little hearts desire now.

I got news for you . He's the King of Cheese.....She says with raised eyebrow---There's more to Wally than many know.......:) And some of your cohorts are the ones that gave me those ideas so talk to them !!! Except for Spirit of the west-That's from MY forum, but it's a kick ass song. Tenacious D ,C.o.B. and DimBo , he has cd's of (which I'm taking) and Iron Maiden and Sabbath so the others I got for him.

Thanks you guys. It was a fun project, believe me. And I've printed out comments thus far. I may do the weijia's ass thread , too, if I have time. It probably won't be long before he'll be online on his own so be prepared.I couldn't get my darn burner to burn til about 2 hours ago and his brother had to trouble shoot it for me.
