No you can't. I'll represent you. Just keep quiet and invoke your 5th. "No comment" will be sufficient as well.

Nope. The only person who represents the almighty Memnoch is none other than the brilliant Porka Clause.

-isn't father death from canada as well? and where has he been lately?

Yeah no 5th here.....cause i have no clue what the hell a 5th is anyway.

FD was back home for the holidays (around where i live). He does not have internet access at his house, except when he went to friends' houses. He didn't bother posting anything though. He's back in his shithole of a dorm now though, so you'll probably see him posting within a week or so...that's if he ain't too busy with not failing life! hehe.

Oh, and he is from canada too.

the 5th-he's talkin about the 5th amendment to the US constitution......the right not to incriminate yourself.....basically the right to shut the fuck up if the police are questioning you or whatever.......

NS, Canada, right here!

Just for the record, Canada has the British North America Act, written by Alexander Galt and passed in 1867, which is best compared to the US Constitution.

Damn, I'm about 1500 miles away from any good concerts!

It's not that NS is "in the middle of nowhere," it just seems like lately, we haven't been delivered the type of talent we've gotten in years previous.

Canada itself hardly gets any good concerts...and whenever they do, they come to either of 3 cities....Vancouver, Toronto or Montreal. Most of the time it's Toronto though...which is about 6 hours from my place......so that ain't bad....but hard to do when you dont have a car.

If you live near those cities, then chances are that Slayer either has been there within the last couple months, or are going to be there sometime soon...there's a rumour on the Muchmusic LOUD board that Slayer are hitting Toronto again soon.

Also Dimmu Borgir, Cryptopsy, Diabolic, and another band are coming to Toronto on February 28, and they might be doing some other Canadian Dates, same with Judas Priest...they're in Toronto on Feb. 12

A bold statement, from someone whom I'm sure isn't even allowed to play with guns.

I'm sure your Super Soaker wouldn't be very effective in battle.....

I never talked bout that. I just feel contempt for any person who says something like that be it about Canadians, Afganis, Americans, French or Eskimo.

Canadians look like Terrance and Phillip, right? :)

"Say Terrance?"
"Yes Phillip?"
"FART!"

Now that's genuine canadian humour.

Don't feel bad man, i live in PEI and i've got to travel just as far to see a concert. And because of this, i've only went to the ozzfest. But next summer i'm gonna catch the fest in massachusetts and if there's another extreme steel tour, i'll catch that too.

Wild Child

Yeah, I know what you're saying... I'm gonna have almost 5 months off of university this coming summer, so I'm probably gonna catch some concert somewhere or other! :p

Hey, I know there are quite a few of you Canadians here at the forums, and I always wondered what the Yukon was like. Have any of you guys ever been there or anything like that? From what I've gathered from our half-assed research, the Yukon was basically like a big tundra or snow patch that only snow animals and Eskimos and shit like that lived on, and that it was pretty barren and desolate. Could someone give me some actual information on it? And if they're first-hand accounts, please let me know that.

Yeah, it's a weird question, but I'm interested and still hungover so bear with me :)

Father Death
2002-01-19, 15:46
well i've never been there, but that is basically the gist of it...cept i don't think there are many "eskimos" around there, at least not the main bulk of them... they are mainly located in the Nunuvit region, and Thunder Bay.

memnoch
2002-01-20, 15:20
Well, i haven't been there either.......i know it's damn cold around that region, so i imagine lots of snow would be there. But i know there are some cities with minimal populations and such. Nothing big......maybe a few cities of like 5000-10 000 or so people.

Trendkill_420
2002-01-24, 12:27
my best friend is from the yukon. He's been there a couple of times too and he say's it's nothing like most people expect it to be. In the winter, yes it fits the stereotype. But in the summer it's just like summer here (in Pei).
