Finntroll - Visor om Slutet

I bought the experimental acoustic Finntroll album at No Mercy festival yesterday, and I listen to it with mixed emotions. The folky songs (like the bonus track on jaktens tid) are great but it also has a lot of really silent moments... mostly keyboard sessions and they can´t keep it interesting. Also it´s a mini cd so it is a short one... I think overal good, but not as great as it could have been. Did you guys hear it?

I have downloaded the whole thing, and I must say it wasn't as cool as expected. I mean, it is like the drunken dutchman said, the folkish songs are awesome, but there's too many "dead" moments...more than half the songs are just moody synths and stuff...

nod, i only like the 2nd song, the rest is too much keyboard shit, the album looks been made in time they felt sorry about their lost, and drunk too much alchohol i guess.

I think Visor om Slutet is ok. I agree that there are too many dead moments, but there are also very good songs, like Asfågelns död, Den siste runans dans etc...
Though, I like Midnattens Widunder most... Its so brutal and funny album... I always get kinda trollish mood when I listen to it... :p
Hmm, I'm going to ask if TrollhorN could play synths on my demo... :D

hahahaha.... but I really like the song with the great keyboard intro (sort of middle ages sound) and the other real happy ones... it´s great drunken fun! PS: I like Jaktens Tid more then Midnattens Widunder
