What do you think is the best one-man band? Of course I don´t know em all but I´d say Diabolical Masquerade or old Vintersorg, allthough he didn´t play everything himself... feel free to contribute...

Such a hard choice, I had a hard time choosing between
Old Man's Child, Vintersorg, Diabolical Masquerade, and
Burzum. But I decided on Diabolical Masquerade.

I may be wrong here...but doesn't Ishahn from Emperor write about 95% of the band's material?

That´s true but it doesn´t count as a oneman band, since there are allways three or four guys in the band.

I'll (once again) point out that Apotheosis is best. The symphonic black metal with trash elements is purely amazing! Check out the album "Farthest from the Sun".

Its too bad you guys didn't mention any cult one man bands like Carpe Tenebrum (Astennu ex Dimmu Borgir) or Nargaroth (Kanwulf himself)
