But i found possible new favs at this year's beerfest. "La Maudite", 8% originating from canada.....very soft for a strong beer. I like it. And also Brava.....which is 5,5% i think.....a mexican beer. But it has a nice taste.

I had a good canadian beer once, I think I actually heard of it from, uh, martyr back at atmetal, called L'Tout D'monde, or something(I dont fuckin speak french!). Other'n that, I only drink beer when I'm not trying especially hard to get drunk, and then it depends on the mood and who I'm with. Guiness, Heineken(especially when I was in Amsterdam), and Corona tend to be tops with the people I hang with, and therefore with myself as well.

haha, yeah, german beers are pretty good, though I like belgian beer the best, Palm, Jupiler and Leffe are all nice.

I think most dutch beers are okay, cuz their cheap but if you look at what you have to pay for a simple heineken then I agree with poldi, don't buy dutch beer it makes you piss a lot, that's not nice at all, it fucking sucks because you have to sprint to the fucking toilet every 5 minutes.

If there's one thing America does REALLY badly, it's mainstream beer. It is urine straight from Satan's sulphorous smouldering urethra. I have tried Bud, Schlitz, Rolling Rock and Miller Genuine Draft and they are all genuinely fucking lousy.

Incidentally, I tried Jenlain for the first time the other day. I didn't know the French made beer like that. It's really very good.
