I know this aint the best place to put this but i coudnt see n e where else (maybee im retarded).

i desperately need a band name for my grindcore/deathmetal band. influences are:

cannibal corpse
dying feotus
nasum
Machine head

im kinda avoiding all that satanic shit (deicide style)
but here are what we got so far:

D.R.D - not sure what it stands for but the other guitarist drew it on his leg and thinks its cool

D.D.D - Dessimate Dominate Desicrate (i know i cant spell for shit)

Rape & Slaughter
or
Raped & Slaughtered

Dildo Gun Massacre

so tell me which are cool which one's suck or give me a new suggestion. also try an think of stuff that D.R.D could stand for

Personally....i don't like most of the names you said. Raped and Slaughtered and other names like that make me think "hey, this band can't come up with anything good and just wants their name to sound hardcore when they really sound stupid." And the dildo gun massacre is just stupid, it sounds like a joke band.

I can't think of anything for DRD, maybe DBD "Dead before Dawn" or something. whatever. good luck!

Dead before Dawn sounds good. I have to admit that many times i have bought a new bands albumn just becasue of their band name... so you need something that sounds catchy that makes people think twice... and sorta sets a mood...
