Yeah, I post at more forums, I'm a regular at Ultimate-Guitar, pretty nice people and there's a hardcore forum, but it's more regular music with regular people.

the guys around this forum are more fun and there are less nu-metal fags around this place cuz of our oh-so-friendly moderators, LOL :D :beer:

there's another forum I post on, Inside-Knowledge magazine, that's a mag I work for, it's about the metal/hc scene in germany and holland, it rules because I get loads of cd's to review and shit :)

I think I've been around I-K the longest, but I have more posts on metaltabs, because this place has more threads/members.

We all started posting around the same time on the old atmetal site... And we all have really similar tastes... It's true though. In visiting other forums, I've realised just how heavily we moderate this forum... and it's good. We encourage swearing and generally maladaptive behaviour and we're as biased as hell but it's fun. Other forums are more like support groups for socially retarded people. And that's scary.

The only other forum i go to is talkbass.com theres millions of people there playing bass and double bass..its cool, but theres too many people posting its hard to catch up on..so i just post here from now on instead:D

I'm *Def* on Ug, whatever, it's not that different, but just without the stupid FX after my name, but I can't change my name here, which is pretty lame cuz everyone calls me Def anyways.

I'm around Inside Knowledge and UG, but I spend most my time on Metaltabs, simple cuz of the people and their musical taste here.

where did the fx come from?

I dunno anymore, I think It had something to do with using heaps of effects on both bass and guitar, but I don't use that many effects anymore.

the def came from my bad right ear, but I'm gonna have an ear operation coming july, it takes a year for an ear to recover enough to get it fixed.

Guess that problem came from rehearsal, live shows, loud discman, etc...


but I'm Def on the other forums, so well, it kinda sucks I'm def-fx here, everybody calls me Def anyways.

I've been on talkbass and activebass, but most of those guys only play jazz and fusion, I hate it.
