Best live bands ever?

Morbid Angel IMO takes the crown. Trey Azagthoth could play circles around all these cocksucking mallcore nu-metal fruitcakes.

Ibex Throne is a close second. The music rocked, the vocalist kept slicing himself...all of the members are throwing thier heads around like its fucking Armageddon.

Now...only if Mayhem, My Dying Bride, and Unholy would come to the states...

Immolation is crazy. There isnt a 3 second pause between songs. They have really good live expeirence. Vader!!! They rule live. I didnt see any of them miss a note and the drummer was persistant, never got tired. And after seeing them, i went home the next day listen to an album, i have to say i dont like them as much because they where so damn good live, that it actually brought the cd down. His voice is just so powerful. I really want to see Children of Bodom live. Cephalic carnage too, there interesting to see live, they role around and still play flawlessly.

The best band I saw live was Deicide(about 4 weeks ago)
The best thing is that they played almost every song from
their first album which is by far the best.Fuck!My neck ached for a week!
Second best live band I've seen is My Dying Bride.

Cannibal Corpse I expected to be great but they sucked!
Also Kreator was very good.
A bit dissapointed by the Haunted(they were too friendly with
the audience,and Dolving was much better than Aro)
Unforunately here in Greece there are not many live shows

Oppressor-had the sickest sound i have heard. the vocal guy sounds kinda corny on the albums but live he was badass

Exhumed-these guys were insane. i had heard of them, but never actaully heard them till i saw them live. i now own a few albums.

Entombed-Back when Wolverine Blues was released. the loudest band i have seen live. played songs to the fucking "T". Clandestine songs blew me away live.

SLAYER!!!!! no question....their Live sound is fucking perfect....and whats better then seeing kerry and jeff pounding their fucking bodys too shit and still pulling off the solos perfect.... i saw Slayer with Morbid angel opening... Morbid was good... the drummer fuckin kicked ass... but when soon as slayer got up and started playing south of heaven...it was ON....

yeah, you probably saw them at Ozzfest last year, they really suck ass. they're just as gay as slipknot.

As for best live bands, I wonder about Nile, I heard they're pretty good, also can't forget about Anthrax and Metallica (damn that rock am ring show was promising for next sunday!)

Napalm Death all the way. I've seen them 2 or 3 times now, and each time they put all the other acts to shame.

Toss up, for me.

Seeing Through the Eyes of the Dead was amazing. Coalesce was probably one of my favorite bands I've seen live. Same with Daughters, the first time I saw them.

Oh. Dying Fetus and Necrophagist were amazing too. Only problem being is that both bands have shit stage presence. Music makes up for it though.


At this point in my life, i've seen enough bands live that its hard for me to pick one out from the other.
