how to get started

hey im a guitarist who loves singing

although i can not sing right now to save my life

can anyone give me tips on how to get started into singing

eg
in tune,
findin vocal range,
pitch etc

i have watched many videos but only say about breathing from diapharm which i can do

Zen of screming dvd 1 + 2. So I don't use the style of scream taht the dvd is based on anymore but the exercises and wamrups she teaches are really useful for improving range, strength etc and I haven't been using them that long and have already seen an improvement
