SLAYER Set Release Date For Live DVD
SLAYER have set Feb. 11, 2003 as the release date of their upcoming DVD, titled "War At The Warfield".
Recorded at San Francisco's The Warfield on Dec. 7, 2001 during the band's "God Hates The World" tour, "War At The Warfield" marks one of the last live appearances with the group of drummer Paul Bostaph, who announced his departure from the band shortly before Christmas 2001 due to a "chronic elbow injury." Bostaph has since joined San Francisco Bay Area metallers SYSTEMATIC, who are currently recording their sophomore album, titled "Pleasure To Burn", for an early 2003 release through Elektra Records.
Awesome, can't wait.

Why would he quit a band because of an arm injury and then go join another?
Because that other band kick SO much more ass than Slayer.

The Fan's Rule documentary is great, it really captures what the typical Slayer fan is like, even if most of them are buffoons. I used to fit into that category. Actually I think I still do.
There's some good interview footage intercut with the fan shit, featuring the band, Scott Ian, Kirk Hammett, etc.
Fuckin' thumbs up from me.

It's pretty funny, but i agree with you. When watching the DVD i think "these guys are fucking nuts"......but in that atmosphere, i'd be just as crazy as they are. Slayer owns.

I love the one part with Kirt Hammett when hes talking about how "Slayer never changed their formula" or "how they stayed fast and brutal" or something like that.....whats funny is how Kirt looks to have some regrets in that part......
Maybe he thinks someone else should have done that too???
My favorite part of the dvd it the fat guy at the end of the fans rule section yelling Slayer. Me and my cousins watched that over and over and over.......he seems to suicidal.....I want to touch him...

Hmm...a friend of mine bought it he said the fans rule part was all a bunch of Slipknot kids and there were no thrashers
Leiland on the DVD kicks ass and hes fuckin hilarious.
And that fat shy guy made me laugh a lot because he had a problem trying to
say the words he wanted to say.

Actually, tell ur friend hes wrong. Some guys were wearing MOrbid Angel beanies,
an emperor shirt, immortal shirt, and a Devourment shirt.
But yeah, I only saw one guy wear a Marilyn Manson T.
