But it got to the point where I felt totally incomplete without having taken 2 or more of them on 2 separate occasions daily. Sure they helped me in school but I just couldn't get around the feeling that I HAD to take them. There was also the question of what the doctors expect you to do with the drug in the long run; am I expected to take this shit for the rest of my life? That's how it seemed because nothing changed when I wasn't on it. So I just stopped taking it. I can pretty much cope with my ADD symptoms now on my own but that's not to say that it still isn't very difficult to stay focused on an assignment. I compare it to swimming through molasses or oil.

I'm surprised i dont hear anyone on here ever mention The Project Hate MCMXCIX. Armageddon March Eternal is a killer album. I thought In Hora Mortis Nostrae, though more technical and compelx, was a step down for them. It just didn't have the same atmosphere as AME. Anyone else here into them? They're pretty unique with the duo vocalists (growler and female singer), keyboards, and actual tasteful use of electronic stuff here and there. AME is heavy as fuck, yet graceful and almost beautiful at some moments.

You need to see some bands that move around and get into the music. Walking back and forth isn't what i'm talking about. I'm not really refering to the guitarist cause obviously he needs to get to the mic.

Their actions don't reflect the music at all. Its extremely fast yet they don't move at all? It appears they're concentrating too hard on playing everything perfect like its a cd rather than getting intot he music.

I guess its i'm into thrash and not so "technical brutal" metal and punk that maybe i'm spoiled by good live shows and not thing.

Watch iron maiden or something as well if you want to see a live show. (not like the big eddie and fireworks or whatever) rather all the members moving around. Doing metal poses, the singer swinging across shit and jumping.

I feels like it could be gas... idk what else it could be. I'm burping a lot. I already sat on the throne and didn't get any significant luck. All I have here in my dorm are antacid tablets and ibuprofen. I just ate 4 tablets and they seemed to help a tiny bit but the pain is definitely still there. any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

It actually just stopped hurting altogether just now which is a miracle because my god it was bad. just before it stopped, I started salivating like crazy which led me to believe I was gonna puke so I dragged myself to the ol' porcelain god and sat there for a few minutes and luckily nothing happened. so I slowly stood up and the pain was gone. :confused:

Basocally all i will do is, eat, work, sleep, play music, and probably work out.

I will be doing economic, political, and cultural intelligence. So needless to say i have ALOT of preparations to do before i get in country on the side of reading books. I have about 5 in mind i need to get through. One of which is the Arab Mind which is a huge fucking book.

Oh yeah, i'm gonna see if i can do an indepedent study for my major. (sociology) Which should be EASY to convince them to do. If i can get that done and get like 3 or 6 credits (1 or 2 classes) i will be able to come back and take like 1 maybe 2 classes.

I mean why wouldn't they take it? How often if ever do they get sociological experience in A. A war zone or B. a place like Iraq / sensitive middle east location? Eggggxactly. It was my friends idea and its a damn good one.

rough man, two of my buddies from highschool signed up right after graduation, went to airborn school and passed, went to ranger school and passed, got sent over to iraq. now ones dead and the other is missing his leg. try and stay safe. whats your MOS?

They haven't changed bootcamp. And it doesn't matter what your mos is, all job fields are needed in Iraq and other places. We are designed and oriented for battle so it would be stupid to have jobs that weren't deployed.

Also i'm not sorry i'm heading out. I'm fairly excited about it. I will do what i'm told to do, and i don't plan on being in being in situations that i will need to "dodge and weave" as you put it. I am going to sit behind a desk and type intelligence reports and answer phones to take salute and spot reports. The chance of me "leaving the wire" are fairly slim if not impossible, but needless to say if i'm going over and i get a chance to leave base i'll do it. Its worth going there and getting the full experience. Regardless of the fear one might have, you need to get past that to live your life. The chance of me getting killed is probably less likely than a car crash here in america. All of the fighting has basically ended and only now and again there are mortors, and nearly all of that isn't where i'm going. Don't forget i'm in the Marines, not the army, we actually have our shit locked down and secured. Hence why most marines that go out there now especially end up being bored.
