would it be unhealthy to sing in the cold?
because it seems that the original techniques of singing or preparing to do so don't really help that much but when i walk around outside and sing it sounds much more deeper and heavier

can anyone give me some insight as to what the hell is happeneing here?

the warmer you are the looser your vocal chords become, but for some people that may be a bad thing.

it may sound better because your vocal chords are tight and may resonate better or give you more "tone"

I prefer cold too.

Singing for extended periods of time in the cold can cause damage to your vocal folds, but that all depends on how hard you're singing, how resistant to damage your vocal folds are etc. Over all it's not something you want to do all day every day but it probably won't kill you.
