need some help smellproofing.

alright, basically im going to a music festival in the uk (glastonbury) mates taking me, i know the music is poor but oh well.

anyway. i have bought a half ounce of weed and someone has just informed me that they have sniffer dogs on the gates.

what the fuck can i do to ensure it doesnt get smelled out? it would fucking take the piss, id get kicked out of the festival.

any ideas? ive heard of smell proof bags, i gues if i put it into one of those then into a tin with alot of tin foil and cling film maybe the dogs wont notice it?

any sort of substances that cover smell? the festival is in like 2 days so time is running out....

oven bags are good...they are the bags you put turkeys in to bake in the oven...they hold in the liquids. you could either twist the shit out of the end..or just use a lighter and melt/seal it. also..you could have some nice aromatic food in your car...i guess those dogs might be trained to ignore the food smells..but they are still dogs..and the more smells there are..the more confusing it is. especially if you can't smell whats inside the oven bag in the first place.

But anyways, pot at a festival shouldn't be a big deal. I doubt they'll do anything even if they find a 1/2 oz.

That's quite the idea.

My advice would just get really baked/drunk for the show..then have a few dollars to pitch in on some joints if there are people smoking at the concert.

my friend sent some weed in the mail.
he got a peanut butter jar. he carved a hole out in the center of the peanut butter so there was a cavity, where he put a toilet paper roll. he double bagged the weed and then filled the center of the jar with coffee ground (supposedly neutralizes odors, good for covering up). then he covered the top with peanut butter, so when you opened the jar, it looked like there was just peanut butter in there.

obviously, you wouldnt be able to fit a half O in there :p but maybe the coffee grounds idea might help you.

thanks for all the advice, been reading through some drug forums and the general consensus is that you CANT fool drug dogs, even with ammonia, varios chemicals, submerged in liquids, even if you have like tiny molecules of THC on your clothes/hands you are still fucked.

all this is making me decide, is it really worth the risk, maybe i should just go buy a load of alchohol instead.

cant fool the dogs? i know they have high senses, but c'mon. 3 words: air tight seal. i could be wrong, but im pretty sure dogs cant smell through solid metal, or glass. pretty damn sure. if there is an air tight seal, does that not mean, no air escapes???

And I think you took his comment to be a statement of national superiority, which I don't think he meant that at all. So before inviting him to an argument, make sure you both mutually understand what's being argued before he makes his case for why America punishes drug offenders more than Canada vs. your case for why Americans can be open-minded too ... ?


Well anyways if I were in the original poster's shoes I would do what I always want to do for public smoking : Get the premade cigarette filter+paper ( basically a complete cigarette with nothing in the tube ), load it 35% menthol tobacco, 35% flavored pipe tobacco ( trust me on this one ) and 30% marijuana, grind it all together and load it via one of those devices that you use to "shoot" tobacco into the cigarette tube. They don't smell like pot, and I like to take them to bars and get high in public, where there are 100 other people all smoking cigarettes. Never smoked them around a drug-canine though.

Basically true, here in BC cops don't give a shit about weed. My old friend in Kelowna was caught by a cop smoking weed behind a 7-11... he acted calm, reached into his stash tin, handed the cop 2 joints as a bribe to stfu and the cop said nothing more than "Have a good night boys" got in his car and moved on.
