3 Inches Of Blood's latest album leaked today. Just finished downloading, and I can't say I'm very happy with the production job. The snare drum is annoying and the guitar tone is pretty unimaginative. I guess that's what you get when a band changes to Madison amps . Musically, it's amazing, a lot extremer than their previous stuff; I'm not sure I totally agree with this new direction, I miss the old, more melodic style. Also, what the hell are keyboards doing in here? They fucking ruined Trial Of Champions by adding keyboards.

I've only heard the new song from their myspace. That sucks about the production though, however, I still can't wait for this album to come out. The production in the last album was awesome.

I love this band and they are very good live.

I liked it, a lot!

It has to be the best album of 2007 to this day.

Whereas Advance and Vanquish's guitars were crisp, smooth, and overall amazing sounding, Fire Up The Blade's guitar tone reminds me A LOT of my Peavey Bandit and LTD Viper with its ToneZone/PAF Pro, which isn't incredibly good tone. I fucking love this album, though.

Somebody please help me, I find myself completely unable to stop listening!

oh ok. i have A&V, and i cant see why they would proceed something that sounds bad, when compared, in production.

From what I hear on myspace, I like. I fail to see how the snare drum is annoying- its not too poppy or high pitched.

Indeed. In my ears the sound is more developed.
