Recomend A Guitar!!!!!

Hey, well i'm about to buy a new guitar, once again, but I don't know which brand or what guitar would be a good one... I really like the Ibanez brand but i want to try something new... let me know what are your favorite brands and styles...:confused:

I like the Jackson RR1 alot
ESP is good
Ibanez too
Epiphone, gibson, fender, bc richs too

but the best thing is to go to all guitar shop you know, and try the one that might interest you:D

I vote for Gibson.. I just got a new one like a week and a half ago and it's a Gibson.. it's incredible.

i'd like a gibson explorer, but thats just me. i suggest going to a shop and trying lots of guitars for yourself. see which one feels good to you.:cool:

I don't like gibsons they sound to bright, I like Ibanez and ESP better..

anyways, just get your hands on a guitar with EMG pickups and you'll be fine :P

try the fender tex-mex guitar or something like that. i forgot the exact name, but its 2 single coils + a seymour duncan pearly gates humbucking pickup. american made too. i tried it out at the local guitar shop and it was amazing, probably the best fender i've ever heard. here in canada, it goes for 1450. realtivley cheap.

im a bit partial to the 7string guitar :D i have an esp m107 with a dimarzio tonezone7 pickup in it....sounds pretty tight with the right amp. of course...thats if youre into the low stuff...

I'm happy with my rg7. And for Fender... I think they suck. def-fx is right. Emg's are the only solution for fender guitars...

If you want something that you can get a lot of tones, get a Fender DOUBLE Fat Strat.
In the bridge put a Duncan Invader, and in the neck put a Duncan Jazz in.
I suggest run it through a rackmount w/ Rocktron Ganiac. But if not, get a real good pedal.


And to say again for the thousandth time on here, Ibanez is lame!

Once you get EMG's, you are stuck with that EMG sound...which is no tone, if you do not have a good rack/pedal to back them up, it is total shit.

And Setdown, you only say that because Fender don't make Guitars that LOOK like those COOL Ibanez Guitars!, or Bc Rich.
Just have to know what you're doing and what you need to get great sounds out of Fender.

I also think the Pickups on the Fender Toronado rule the EMG sound; they have a really good sound.

Why is it in almost every thread, when I come out of nowhere to reply to something with information or suggestions, I come back a few days after, and no one says anything after I reply, I just noticed that, same thing for the Nile sound thread, I gave the asshole good information (now I even have more to put on that thread)..and does not reply.
