Singing in extreme music...

Okay so I'm planning on singing in my bands new song but I don't want the song to sound like a sellout song or anything like that.

I growl/scream, shout in every other song and would like to do more with my vocals.

I'm hoping to go for a more tradionational vocal style like Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Candlemass but not quite ripping them off. It's just for a chorus in the middle of the song and the rest of the song from start to finish is Thrash/Grind/Hardcore/DeathMetal kinda thing as I don't want our band doing an easy listening song at all ! It's just to add variation.

Is there any good metal vocalists that any of you recommend I listen to that sings in any extreme metal bands or similar that could give me some ideas and inspiration ?

Check out Warning, they're a British doom band, and the vocals are similar to Sabbaths'- very good :) And to re-iterate the other two, Akercocke :)

Thanks for pointing those vocalists out. I have a baritone singing voice so should hopefully sound more doomy than anything else.
