alright.. Before I had the problem that I could finger faster than I could strum.. someone pointed out to me I was playing with my arm and not my wrist and also holding the pick wrong (total stupid mistake) now after practicing for a few months I can strum atleast 3 times faster now.. shit I can downstroke pick faster than I could tremelo before.. the problem now is my fingers can't go that fast.. so I need help making them stronger.. Basically all this mumble is to ask the question have you guys seen those grip master things? And do they help alot? And I've seen posts about fingering faster and i've done the practices they show. and after a few days I can play the practice lightning fast.. but then I try to play different notes just as fast and I still can't.. I think it's because my fingers get used to playing that one thing.. but as soon as I switch to something else i'm still no faster.. Any ideas? I'd get one of the grip master things if I knew it helped.

Yeah, this has been asked 1000 times, and the answer will always be the same: practise!!!!
start playing it slowly, if you can play it well, accelerate a bit...
over and over, until you can play it fast!

take care,
Pablo

i had the same problem for a long time, where i only practiced the minor and diminished scales, so thats all my fingers could play fast, but after a while you tend to speed up on everything else. sometimes when i played the scales i'd improvise a few back-and-forth runs on them (eg; 4 up, 1 down) with just little hammers and pulls here and there, after a while you just learn to pick up speed all over the board.
