i need a machine that makes good violin sound....... my keyboard has a violin seeting, but it sounds shitty, just like the piano setting......

they make machines specifically to make organ sounds or piano sounds or synth sounds.... do they make a machine that can reproduce good violin sound?

cool someone that wants a violin sound :)
some synths have nice violin sounds, like the Roland E-35 and some other Roland keyboards also have nice 'real' sounding violins.

If you know Fear My Thoughts, you'll know how cool violins can be in kickass music!

violin player will be the answer.

I have a violin sound on my pedal (korg ax300g) but I never use it.

Cause we have a violin player.

now i always told myself that i would never buy a casio keyboard they were evil but after i played with one in the shop once i had to buy it, the sonds on it are crystal perfect,

few area lil off like the guitars

but the strings and violins and shit are great....

i used them with the band i used to be in to do a dramatic romantic song...

damn i miss that band....

*sniff*

I have a casio privia PX-110 which has a good violin sound if you like the whole orchestra feel. Personally I prefer to hook it up to my computer which has sonar home studio on it. I do that with a yamaha midi to usb cable. That way I can turn down the speakers on my keyboard and use the midi patches from sonar which routes through my computer speakers. I was thinking of doing a dual violin thing with my electric as melody and my keyboard as a backup orchestra.
