From what I gathered from ur random choice of words.....I've came to the conclusion that you just need to practice more. It becomes easier and second nature after you practice.

Practice. And you might try fretting the strings closer to the actual fret, instead of in the middle like alot of people teach.

your fingers may also be under-developed, just work on your finer strength because you may not be pressing down hard enough.

the pick has to be parallel to the string, if its at an angle
then you get that crappy scratchy sound...

Such retardedness. And what the fuck does Steve Irwin have to do with anything? Seems like this forum is dedicated to 16 year old American roaches who like Pantera.

Anyways - Something that would help is doing scales so you can develop accuracy and finger strength. It might seem a bit boring at first, but when you try and learn a lead and see how well everything is coming along - You'll be very impressed.

Hope that helps!

Why does anybody think that they can come off scary and badass on an internet forum by typing a few words? Ask for addresses and fly out and meet up, or shut the fuck up, morons.

Here's another thing to consider.

Think of when you're actually playing a note on the guitar, there are two motions involved... the fretting of the note, and the picking of the note. When alot of people complain that their playing is sloppy or 'shitty' or whatever, a problem could be that you're letting the time difference between where you finger the note and when you pick the note to be too big. You're not playing with both your hands in-sync. You'll want to practice parts of whatever you're trying to learn slowly with a metronome and make sure that you fret and pick the notes at the same time. That way you can build up the cleanliness, therefore bring up the speed, and not have it come out like a bunch of shit.

Practice. I mean when you're learning something play it really slow untill you have it down pate. I mean even do it to the solos you learn. Like compare the sound of the solo your learning to the sound of the actual solo and get them perfect. Not just on the solo either do the whole tab farily slow untill you get the actual hang of it at the tempo the guy does it in. This will not only allow to hit notes better but also become a better all around player.
