Can anyone tell me how to do these right? Because I can do them, but it puts imense stress on my voice where I can barely talk afterward for a while. Even though I sing only part time in my band, I don't want my voice all fucked up later in life. Surely the Through The Eyes Of The Dead Or Black Dahlia Murder singers don't go through this same thing.

Your right, it shouldent hurt too much. For me I just have to keep the scream in the back of the throat as always, it just goes a little higher along the back, dont choke up too much. idk if this helps.
