getting a Guitar

I'm thinking in getting a new guitar ... but I dont know which one to buy ...I found this two ... please tell me which one is better or recommend some others (no more than $1000)

For under $1000, you could get a NJ series neckthrough warlock..that will run about $650. NJ series warlocks with bolt on necks run in the $350 area new.

I say Jackson Warrior XT...because I am a Jackson player myself(USA Kelly), and no other guitar has ever played that well in my hands.

Or..if you are not dead set on getting a brand new guitar, you can find used Jackson USA guitars that are a few years old in excellent shape for under $1000 also.

I suggest you head to a store that carries the guitars and see which feels better in your hand..that is what really matters. That is what sold me on the kelly..I was in a store helping one of my friends buy a new guitar(a NJ Warlock) I walked by the guitar..picked it up, plugged it in...went home sold my PRS and that was that!

Damnit, don't you people know how to freakin shop for shit??

Just go to MANY stores.....and compare prices. Pick up the guitar, plug it in to a cool amp and rip away. Whatever guitar feels and sounds best to you, pay close attention. Go to the other stores like previously mentionned, and find the best price.

Next step? Buy it.

JACKSON SL3-EXCELLENT GUITAR, BUT IN PRICE IT WILL PROBABLY BE CLOSE TO $1,000. STILL EXCELLENT-BETWEEN THE TWO YOU HAVE SHOWN, I WOULD SAY THAT JACKSON, I THOUGHT ABOUT GETTING THAT GUITAR, BUT THEY DON'T MAKE IT LEFT-HANDED.

Why don't you go for a Late 80's early 90's Soloist SL1 USA made? One of Jacksons better built guitars. You can find some on ebay in MINT condition for about that amount. 24 frets, ebony fingerboard, neck through, emg's, some have a reverse headstock, Floyd Rose... top knotch man!

Someone mentioned the Jackson SL3. They are on sale right now (black, natural, trans red) at musiciansfriend.com for $599.99, which seems to be a good price:
