The point of birthday threads should be to congratulate regulars from us, the community.

There is no point in posting b-day threads for people who have contributed nothing to this society, and most probably won't even read it.
Now it's nothing more than another excuse to get your post count up or get attention in the "lookit me, I made thread!" way.

And if I remember correctly, isn't there something in the forum rules about making b-day threads only for people who are regulars or have been at some point?
