To quote Dethklok, "Playing acoustic is totally lame and not metal."

That may be the gayest, stupidest thing I've ever seen.
hmm, well theres plenty of ''regular'' acoustics, wich probaly sound just as good or better, and i doubt that shape will be comfortable for an acoustic.

the reason that i posted this thread is that ive never seen an acoustic guitar with a different shape so i really doubt how its gonna sound like.If i should have posted somewhere else, i apologize.

The only reason you are not getting the answers you want is because the question was completely absurd.
What do we think of a flying v shaped acoustic?
What the fuck do you think?

why is it absurd? im asking people's opinion here about a guitar, how it sounds like with that kind of shape? is it worth your money? are Dean's the only one whose making it?.Since ive never got a fucking chance to lay my hands on it,im expecting experienced reviews from this forum that i had found very resourceful. Now if im not getting answers because the topic is about flying V acoustic guitar, then ill call it absurd.

you're serious about "Playing acoustic is totally lame and not metal.". Is that what you call a review?

Thats what I call closed-mindedness.
I think it looks like shit, I would think a regular shaped acoustic would sound better, otherwise V acoustics would be everywhere.
I know a luthier and hes made some weird guitars, I had a go on this triangle acoustic he based on a medieval guitar - it was quiet and lacked tone because of the shape.
Only way to know if YOU like it is if YOU play it - opinions arent really worth shit in the long run, for they are just opinions.
Well try it, I've never played exoticly shaped acoustics.
Maybe Karl Sanders used this on his solo album? :P I'm listening to Saurian Meditation right now too btw.
It might not have the same acoustics as a regular acoustic(it's a thin body acoustic too) but it has a preamp so that probably helps for direct recording. I generally buy stuff without trying it first if I'm convinced with reviews, but this is something I would definately try beforehand.
I like playing Gibson/Dean esque flying V's sitting down of if the bottom wing is between my legs so it's in a diagonal position.
dude get a normal acoustic. this dean looks shit. this is the dumbest thing done to a piece of wood ive ever seen.

lol thanks for the feedbacks.i may have come to the conclusion that it aint gonna sound as good as a normal acoustic.but its true that you'll never know until youve tried it.
