Dunno if its been mentioned but this album kicks ass. Anyone into Today is the Days' Sadness Will Prevail will be in for quite a treat as this record is really emotionally charged, really long and enduring and has many many layers and extremities. It's very depressive album, moody and doomy with a despondant end of the world feel, much the same as sadness will prevail. I mean god damn if i didn't know better [and i dont know better] i'd say they copied the fucking album ahah even some of the riffs sound alike. having said that it is a great experience and a fucking pick up for anyone in to slow and very very depressive/sad music. it has female vocals on some tracks aswell. the vocals are outstanding, i mean im not one for clean vocals in extreme music but this guy is really convincing and in some trakcs its just marvelous i think Temple of Depression there is a bit where all the music stops and there is a call and response with his voice and the instruments and he jus sounds SO convincing. and he drifts from his baritone drone voice to his slayer/pantera esque yell. the album has great continuity and is basically unbroken in feel and atmosphere. Im definately one for atmoshperic albums that have continuity. there is experimentation here with alot of shit and it all works.
Doom/Death or Sadness era TITD fans go and buy this record NOW.

So basicly Celtic Frost has gotten al doomy?
I haven't listened to it yet, but my friend who is heavily into both black metal and doom doesn't like it very much.
And has anyone else noticed that all these old kvlt bm bands are revived again and mostly turned into crappy metalcore?

I've got it, I've given it a few spins. Not totally blown away but I don't totally dislike it, some nice touches, maybe it'll grow on me more
I just wish he didn't use that same early doomy Cathedral riff on just about every song :p

Well I always heard celtic were like some band acredited with the entire oldschool black thrash shit like bathory and all that but this comepletely blew me away yes its quite the same ion feel, lyrical approach and mood and atmoshpere. Very cold and clinical, lonly and doomy. Great

I might have missed the album title... But i picked one of there albums up a while ago, it was Monotheist. If thats what your talking about, its an ok album. Otherwise its nothing that excited me past Slayers new release, or I should say Cult off there newest album.
