anyone else has the same voice problem

ok i dont knowe if this should go on the vocals froum but it doesnt really involve any singing
my voice always sounds to me too quiet and high pitched but everbody tells me that my voice is low and loud???they even tell me to stop talking so loud sometimes anyone else has a similar problem i odnt know i thought i'd just make a random topic :p

Have your hearing checked. That might be your problem especially if you're prone to sinus or ear infections. If you've been sujected to loud noises that can do it also. I know when I was target shooting without hearing protection everyone including a Led Zeppelin tape sounded like Mickey and Minnie Mouse for almost a day. Sometimes medication you might be on can alter your hearing, too.

Record yourself and maybe you'll hear what others are hearing.

yea i tohught i might have a hearing problem. either from playing guitar too loud or from swimming :idea: so its a hearing problem and not a voice problem

Doctors only schedule you for a certain time period so the more you can find out prior to an appointment the better. Talking to people is a good way to get some ideas. It doesn't mean they're always right, but something may click or be very similar. Swimming and loud noise might be the culprits.

If you go to the doc let me/us know what he/she says.

I talked to one kid about a year ago that found out he had an incurable medical condition and he wasn't sure how to tell his mom. I think I helped him get out of his panic state talking to him. He finally did tell his mom and it turned out she had the same thing so she was a lot of help to him. And no, it wasn't anyone on metaltabs.
