Its bolt-on, though there are some neck-thru Caparisons, this is not. It has a Schaller/Floyd and Caparison pickups. To clear up any..um...confusion?

i kinda wanna get a horus, but im not sold on them yet, id have to play one first. i need a new guitar in general, ive been playing on the same squier affinity telecaster for 6 years now, i love the guitar to death, but i wanna get something new, i love the tele body style, im thinkin another fender tele, but im not quite sure yet.

the neck has a much bigger role in playability, you cant tell how well a neck plays by the look of it in a picture!

do caparisons actually sound good?
ive always thought it was just one of those guitars that are amazing to look at for the fuck of it, but SUCK when actually played. so is it good? or am i an idiot for asking?

Mine will sound a lot better as soon as I switch out the pickups.

I was thoroughly dissapointed when I got mine, to tell you the truth. The set-up sucked, intonation was out by a mile, etc... It needs some serious help, and I don't have time to fuck with it right now.

I just put together a '91 Ibanez from various parts, and it fucking screams. I would expect a guitar like a Caparison that costs this much to at least sound halfway decent. It has absolutely no sustain whatsoever.

Bottom line: I don't think I'd even waste my money on another one. But, I might change my mind once I throw some new pickups in it. You never know, it might end up being one of my best sounding guitars after that.
