im not a deicide fan, ive only owned 1 of their albums my whole life. but im wondering what glen and the rest plan to do. their albums seem to get to get worse, especially their latest, in torment in hell, which was completely raped by reviewers. im just curious as to what they plan to do........are they gonna continue writing full albums about the same thing and continue to fall? any thoughts to disband? if they are gonna continue, i think they need a complete overhaul on what they put on their next album......
from what i heard, their songs have gotten to the point where the chorus is nothing more than the song title repeated over and over.......

I wouldnt mind seein them put out another one. I never completely write bands off. If a band puts out 100 consecutive shitty albums and makes 1 good one after those 100, then fuckin a.

its not that its shit...its just that they have made the same album 4 times. they need some really original material. i love deicide for the only reason that i refuse to buy their albums because of how repetitive they are. i only own the live album When Satan Lives for the sheer reason its got IMO all their best tracks (apart from bible basher :( ) so its not as if i get sick of them. but their future is looking glim if they fail to create anything that sounds new.

DEICIDE Sign With EARACHE RECORDS
Long-running Florida death metallers DEICIDE have signed a worldwide recording agreement with Earache Records. The deal is expected to be officially announced via the label's web site tomorrow (Nov. 5) at 17:00 (UK GMT)/12:00 (ET)/09:00 (PT).

mmm is Earache riding the death-metal wave again? After they dumped all their death bands apart from Morbid Angel a few years ago(see Napalm death,Bolt Thrower,Carcass,Nocturnus,...) they seem to be having heavier stuff again (Hate Eternal,Decapitated).
I hope for Glenn that Earache has changed a bit because they have a reputation of ripping bands off.

Hopefully they'll all form other bands and maybe make something worth listening to.

I have all of their records, and I think "Serpents of the Light" was their worst recording. Maybe Glenn's divorce has something to do with their new sound? But, I would like to see (or hear) some new material from them. I guess they went with Earache becasue Roadrunner sucks. Roadrunner has bands like slipknot and sepultura. Well, at least slipknot sucks. Who knows.
