Looking for Doom metal [or Drone I guess] with growled vocals and shit, maybe a blastbeat here or there. What can you give me.

Swallow the Sun
older Anathema
Autumnia
Draconian
Elysium Flower
Novembers Doom

thats all I can think of at the moment

Doom with blastbeats is an oxymoron.

Katatonia and My Dying Bride.

Doom with blastbeats is an oxymoron.

Katatonia and My Dying Bride.
Just becuase it's death doesn't mean it is full of blast beats.
Also Katatonia and My Dying Bride do not fit the discription.

Listen to anything by Katatonia that came out before Discouraged Ones. Particularly Jhva Elohim Meth, Dance of December Souls, and Brave Murder Day.

Esoteric. Not the rap group Esoteric. The other one.

And not The Esoteric either, the shitty hardcore band.

Zionist is wrong. My Dying Bride has plenty of growls and has quite a few death metal riffs.

the usual suspects:

October Tide
My Dying Bride (early years)
Anathema (early years)
Katatonia (early years)
Disembowelment
Shape Of Despair
Officium Triste
Insanity Reigns Supreme
Doomsword (awesomely cool power doom. exactly, power doom)
Evoken
Mourning Beloveth
Swallow The Sun

but to be honest, for the ultimate doom metal experience you need funeral doom bands:

Until Death Overtakes Me
Asunder
Solicide
Monolithe

this stuff is much slower and depressing/haunting than your average doom metal.

Ok, so which of the bands here pretty much always growl, are VERY doomy, maybe [but not necessarily] have a blastbeat here or there??

Growled vocals [aka Krisiun or some death metal Incantation vox or something] are pretty much a necessity I dont really like clean vox at all.

Everything I said minus SunnO))) and Khanate. Especially Coffins and dISEMBOWELMENT.

death and doom are two words that aren't supposed to stand next to each other.

Shape of Despair IS a funeral doom band.
