Not heard that one! With out a doubt he was obviously suffering some psychosis. He was kicked out the military because he was deemed too mentally unfit for the armed services. Whats fucked up about this for me is that my friends band opened up for Damageplan a few days before he got shot here in Pittsburgh, PA & i went to the show to support my friends band & right before Dime took the stage the people i went with wanted to leave to go buy some fucking coke so i had no choice but to leave with them because i had no way of getting home. Fucking cokeheads! I missed Dimes very last performance because of those fucks. I still think about that & its bullshit.

It's stupid to blame this on guns, though. As the old saying goes, if there's a will, there's a way, and that guy would have found one regardless of whether or not he had a gun.
Also, what a lot of people fail to realize is that making something illegal doesn't make it go away. Drugs for example. Drugs kill people, too. They were outlawed. Did the problem go away? Fuck no. The value of drugs increased, and now there's a worldwide market for them. Hundreds if not thousands of people die every year from drugs and the resulting turf wars.
I honestly think that if we outlawed guns in America, it would be like the prohibition all over again, only this time there would be a lot more fucking guns.
Murder is also against the law, yet Dimebag's still dead. I wonder how that's possible. RIP.

Well, not necessarily. There have been plenty of times when people have committed murder while they were high, and/or for drug money. I've heard acid can give you strange hallucinations and make you paranoid as shit. This can lead to some rather nasty things. And don't forget about driving under the influence.

Also, a lot of gun toting idiots just off themselves. All that being said, my above rant was not about drugs being bad. What you ingest in your body is your own business, I could give two shits. I was simply using drugs as an example of how making something illegal doesn't make it go away. Hell, if drugs were legal, we probably wouldn't have half the problems associated with them today.
