Naples got FUCKED UP! Still no electric at my house (I'm at my grandparents about 40 minutes north). Tons of fallen trees, flooding, etc. My house's pool cage is destroyed, the carpet got a bit flooded (so we need new carpets), some roof tiles flew off, coulda been worse though. The weather is really nice here now...sunny and in the 60s. Strangely enough, near the beach where I live isn't as bad ass further inland where it looks like a bomb site. Downtown the gulf met with the bay, so like 6-7 blocks are underwater. Friends of ours evacuated to our house (they lived south of us, the area that got a direct hit) and a palm tree of ours fell on their car. BUT their dad is a guitar collector and as retribution for letting them stay at our house and our hospitality I suppose, he gave me a Fender Telecaster thats in perfect condition, I haven't been able to do research on it yet (since this is the first time I've been somewhere with electricity in about 2 days) but it seems like a pretty valuable guitar. Gold hardware, fancy "vine-like" graphic on it, ivory tuners, maple neck, and he said its about 20 years old. When I get some pics/video of the storm and damage I'll be sure to post them (and of the new guitar) :beer:
