In my time of need
Face of Melinda
(a song from My arms your hearse)
(a song from Orchid)
Bleak
Blackwater Park
The funeral Portrait
and 1 or 2 others, all i know is that it was good, they played a lot of stuff and it was good. They changed their setlist for us, everyone wanted to hear somthing from Still Life, so we spent like 10 mins trying to "noise vote" for what song we wanted to hear. The venue workers were getting all pissed cause they wanted mikael to shut the fuck up and play so they could go home, they played like 45 mins past they were supposed to end.

aghh..3 more days
They were still very kick ass live, but the drummer didnt have the demanding kick beats very clean, he was good, but one thing in particular was the off-beat part at the end of deliverance, it was a little tiny bit sloppy. Anothering thing was when they played Face Of Melinda off of Still Life, when it starts to get hard and martin usually smacks those hi-hats and it sounds all badass, the fill in martin closed the high hats during that and did a half note ride instead of a long drawn out open hi-hat whole note like the original song (i just noticed that because, its a very badass part in the song that would have been very badass live if done right)
But other than that he was good, he definitly didnt take away from the show, but I still would have liked to see the real martin up there, I am fond of his very very tight metronome like drumming.

why dont you guys just exchange cell phone numbers and meet at a certain time..

The fact that I don't have a cell phone is a good reason.

Yeah we dont have cell phones. I have an idea. Pandemonium, wear something so we'll be able to find you. Like something that nobdy else will wear. A cowboy hat or something, that way we'll be able to find you easy, haha.

While I do wear cowboy hats, I don't think I will to the show, as I don't want to lose it. ;) Just look at the pictures I posted. I can't watch Transient's video for some reason.
Oh, and I am much happier. Nevermore got 45 minutes in Detroit, 8 or 9 songs. While not optimal, it is a big improvement over what they got in Chicago. Hopefully the trend will continue.

10-11 songs played in Toronto! The tour managers know what the people want.

We got 8 Nevermore songs (Precognition not included) in Massachusetts; I was satisfied with this, especially since Warrell was having throat problems. I hope they play Seven Tongues of God in New York.
The terrible thing about this show was being in the front row. Everyone would keep pushing forward and all of us in the front rows were fucking crushed. It just took away from the experience immensely, as I could not even pull my hands out from in front of me and my diaphragm was often so crushed that it was hard singing. Anyone else have this bullshit?

Fuck yeah. Nevermore blows 99% of bands away. There was some crazy crowd pushing during Opeth at the beginning, where more than once I was sure a bunch of people would topple. That was just gay.
On a side note, did you hear those guys laughing during Fireball Ministry? They were right next to me, and it was hilarious; this fan of FM came up to them and said he was going to kill them outside. Particularly funny was when the singer from FM said "Okay guys, now I have to bore you for a few seconds". Those guys next to me really cracked up during that part, because FM was so fucking boring!

Yeah man, i was one of the people who toppled over. haha, i ended up losing my hat. I'm not sure which guys you mean, but we were laughing and making fun of them too. I was pretty disappointed with the sound there, you could only hear Loomis if you were on the left side, and only Smyth on my side. I was kinda pissed but they were so fucking awesome that it doesn't matter.

Haha, we should all just meet up with Collin since he's going to be with a kid on crutches. It will be the easiest thing to spot. And we all should have a rough idea of what to look for. Transient has the one of a kind glasses. You can't miss him :D . I'll be with him wearing a brown hoodie. If I recognize you, i'll talk to you, if you recognize us, just come up.

The Opeth merch is all Ghost Reveries stuff...but there are like 4 different styles, and some are awesome. I might get one tomorrow. I already got an Enemies of Reality shirt in Worcester.
I will most likely be wearing my Dreaming Neon Black shirt. At the last show I was the only one with such a shirt. I SHOULD be there pretty early. I will be leaving school between 2:30 and 3...it's about 200 miles away from me, and I normally drive about 80 on the highway. So hopefully I will have a lot of time to spare. I am just praying there will be no traffic problems.

haha well actually i think hes going to wear a knee brace because being on crutches for a show is pretty ridiculous. but if you just scream names out that could work too. i think im going to be wearing my BTBAM sweatshirt. its got a rhino with a gasmask on the back
what time are you guys getting there? i was gonna get there at 7 because i want to be early

yeah seriously :p
Yeah Pandemonium came up and showed us how to mosh Pennsylvania style, basically, me and him owned like all the pits, haha
I never liked Opeth's recorded stuff that much, but they're live show did kick alot of ass. Not to mention the crowd was awesome too, I've never seen anything but fairydancing at that venue for any show but this one. Nevermore was excellent too, Warrel Dane's vocals were solid as hell, and Loomis was very, very impressive. I would not miss this show if it came around again.

Massachusetts style you mean! I tried to start it up during Nevermore a couple times, but no one got into it and I ended up looking like an idiot. It surprised me when a pit started up during Into Eternity. They were great too, but the singer was a goof.

Oops my bad :o
Hehe that Into Eternity singer, he was something else, he definately loves power metal. His whole aura kinda reminded me of Dream Evil. :flame: When he hit those really high notes, everyone in the audience giggled, heh. And for those of you who have never heard him, I'm talking like, three octaves above middle G or whatever. High.
I did like their music though, I'll end up tracking some of their stuff down eventually.
