I own both an Ibanez and Washburn, Ibanez is better value for money but nothing beats my Dime 3 stealth(diamond plating of course!). As dime would say:'Washburn's the shit man!"

I think that Washburns are crap.
But you might not feel the same way.
And frankly, I don't give a fuck what you think.
Nevermind me, I am a worthless nobody.
Everyday, I do nothing - abso-fuckin-lutely nothing.
Zoo's suck.
Go with the Ibanez - Screw Washburn.

I gotta agree with warnerve, i love the hell out of my Dime333. Ibanez is a good brand too, as long as you dont get the cheap models.

i've only ever tried the washburn acoustics and the dime washburns, and no, i will not let that favor my opinion after trying just 1 washburn. I'm looking at trying some more. so i can't yet have a decision. And if your just basing your opinion on dime having a signature, and because that guitar may kickass, then your a fuckhead.
WASHBURNS ARE BAD,BUT IBANEZ ARE BETTER :homer:
Washburn are great, especially the DIMEBAG STEALTH,
Shit I'll kill someone for it!
Washburns rule over Ibanez guitars!

i have played a couple of ibanez and a couple of washburn i think ibanez beat washburn just by a little bit, but the Dime signature series guitars rule that is why i now own one :D
difficult, because washburn and ibanez are both good guitarbuilders. If you take cheap ones it doesnt matter if you take an ibanez or an washburn...both are shit....but in the class of 2000,- $ or more there's no decision. WASHBURN rulez!
I've played on many guitars. my first washburn was a strat copy, üäääääääääääh no more!!!!
Then an ibanez rg440 (strat copy) ok...but nothing for long time....
then some fenders, epiphones, esp's, gibsons les pauls and since i have this washburn ec29 i've played no other electric one.

For $2000, you could get yourself a custom axe, and just bypass the companies.

Well, thats right.............and maybe the better solution for that price, but if i had only choice between washburn and ibanez, i'm sure that i take the washburn:D

For $2000 I'd be after one of these: http://www.ibanezrules.com/images/used/js90_2.jpg

! !!!WASHBURN!!!:kaioken:
I don't really have enough experience to base an opinion on. I've played a few Ibanezes, but only two washburns. The two washburns were on opposite sides of the price range so to speak. One was a cheap thing that felt like brittle plastic in my hands, and the other one was one of the dime models.
I'd say Ibanez are probably a bit more even (though I haven't played much with their better stuff), but Washburn seems to have a higher top, if you get my point. But I do of course not know, as I've only played a few of them.

I've wanted an Ibanez 7 string for a year and a half now, but am too broke to drop $750 on one. So that is why I vote Ibanez.
